ARSENAL are set to make a renewed£15million move for Newcastle midfielderYohan Cabaye.
Arsene Wenger has already bid for Yohan Cabaye
before, but is ready to try again
Emirates boss Arsene Wenger has told his
recruitment staff that his priority is the signing of “a
No.10” – a playmaker.
France international Cabaye, 27, fits the bill.
The Gunners have already failed with one bid for
Cabaye but Wenger has cash burning a hole in his
pocket ahead of tomorrow night’s transfer deadline.
And it is believed that Cabaye still wants to quit
Newcastle. Arsenal are also being linked with
Schalke’s Julian Draxler and Real Madrid’s Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal have renewed their interest in Wesley
Sneijder
Ideally, Wenger also wants to add a striker to his
squad.

window”

Arsenal have revived their interest in axed Holland
star Wesley Sneijder in a bid to beat off any fresh
move for him from long-time admirers Manchester
United.
The midfielder joined Turkish giants Galatasaray in
January in a reported £8million-plus deal – but is
available again for £6m.
Wenger has fancied Sneijder, 29, for some time but
Holland coach Louis van Gaal, who has dropped
Sneijder due to fitness concerns, admitted he would
be in favour of him moving to Chelsea.
