Real Madrid desperate to deflect media criticism to Arsenal

Perez palms the media off to Arsenal! by Simaoatb Arsenal are often used to having the media on our back with the constant slaughtering of several areas of our team including the famous Frenchman, Le Prof Arsene Wenger. But since we signed Mesut Ozil the media, British especially, has been nothing but keen and praising as we all await the expectation from Ozil lining up against Sunderland this coming weekend. However to slightly dampen the mood regarding our newcomer, the media is slowly beginning to climb back onto us, with suggestions that Ozil may have been a risky move for Wenger to make. First of all I must explain that many sources of information believe from their understanding and no apparent inside knowledge that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelloti was given the choice between Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria, both of whom were targets for Arsenal, so if you look at it in one sense, it’s possible we were always going to get one of the two regardless. Ancelloti supposedly chose Di Maria allowing Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to sanction a deal that would take Ozil away from the Spanish capital and into Arsenal’s hands. However a mass backlash from the fans of Real Madrid as well as several former world players has seen Perez attempt to cover up his tracks by suggesting it was Ozil’s “lifestyle” which made him feel it was okay to sell the German international, as reported from Spanish media sources by 101greatgoals.com . In fear that he knows he has done wrong Perez has made an absolute fool of himself. He said, ”Mesut discovered the world & became obsessed with women, a world that was alien to him before. It wasn’t about the women but about the late nights, the hours spent not sleeping. He wasn’t a good professional.” I must admit from reading that its nothing but an embarrassing excuse and his quote of “Mesut discovered the world & became obsessed with women, a world that was alien to him before”, is simply just humourous. From what I can tell this could quickly pick up and suddenly we may find the media trying to grab our attention in the limelight once again. However it’s important we stay out of it for the time being and if we are caught up in the mix then we need to do our best not to let it interfere not only Ozil but the entire team as a whole, because ultimately at this current moment we need all the support we can get and so trying to find ways to undermine our club record signing isn’t going to go down well with anyone!
