Santi Cazorla To Make A Surprise Return To Arsenal’s Squad Against Stoke City
Arsenal and Spain national team midfielder Santiago
Cazorla may make a return to the Arsenal team when
they play Stoke City this weekend. The Spanish
missed Arsenal’s 3-1 victory away to Sunderland with
an ankle injury with Wenger claiming the player has
been ruled out till the end of October but there are
now reports that the high rated midfielder may well
be making a surprise comeback to the team when
they take on Stoke City at home this weekend.
Although one can not tell if there was a misdiagnosis
of the initial injury or whether Wenger was outrightly
lying for reasons best known to him, the fact that
Cazorla may be back this weekend can only be a
relieve to the Arsenal management and their fans as
the club continue to sweat over injuries to key
players. Currently on the injury treatment table are
Diaby, Arteta ( who is also expected back this
weekend ), Oxlade Chamberblain, Podolski, Yaya
Sanogo and Gedion Zelalem.
Arsenal will be taking on Olympic Marseille tomorrow
in a champions league group stage match with only
Olivier Giroud who has been in a very hot form so far
this season the only experience striker traveling to
France with the team.
