The 23-year old has started every one of Arsenal’s games so far this season, in both the Premier League and Champions League. His performances have been as good as we have ever seen from him, including a goal and three assists in Europe, and the young left back has revealed a couple of reasons behind his resurgence, progress and consistency, and it is primarily based on his ability to stay injury free, as reported by The Mail. Gibbs said, “Since my thigh strain at the end of last year, I met someone new who has taken a good look at me physically, and I owe him credit at the minute because he has kept me fir for the last eight or ten months. I have to thank him for that. “from pure frustration of getting different injuries. I had someone look at me and the person told me that ever since I broke my foot, which changed me a bit. “Before that I never really had any injury problems. Ever since then was when they came about. “Now I feel like I am getting stronger and can cope with the amount of games.” This is fantastic news for Gibbs and Arsenal, but the defender also has something else on his mind, and that is a seat on the plane with the England squad for the world cup in Brazil next summer.
