Were Arsenal bad or West Brom good?

There seems to be a lot of criticism heading Arsenal's
way after they failed to carry on the run of wins away
from home, but is that fair? It was a stuttering
performance from the Gunners, and it seemed to be
across the board. Wilshere and Jenkinson are getting
a lot of the stick, but none of the Gunners really
distinguished themselves, except maybe Szczesny
who continued his good run of consistency between
the sticks.
But should we really be so hard on Arsenal. The
reason that the run of wins away has been so
remarkable is because it is hard winning away from
home. AND West Brom are in a good run of form,
having beaten Man United at Old Trafford last week.
They were also one of the toughest teams to visit last
season, so did we not just come against a tough
team?
As they say, you can't win 'em all. On a better day,
Arsenal would have been slicker, created more and
won the game, it's true. However, on many other
days, West Brom would have taken us to the
cleaners. Does one below par performance mean the
tile chase is doomed? Of course not, but we cannot
afford too many of them.
