Arsenal announce big time three-year deal has been done and dusted!
Arsenal have announced that they have completed
another deal, but don’t get too excited Gunners fans
as they have announced Gatorade as its Official
Sports Drink and Sports Nutrition partner.
Using Gatorade’s Prime, Perform and Recover
products, Arsenal players will benefit from
sports fuel developed alongside some of the
world’s leading athletes and underpinned by
Gatorade’s commitment to scientific research.
In addition, Arsenal and Gatorade’s sports
science teams will collaborate on developing
specific nutrition plans for players to optimise
performance when training and competing.
The announcement comes as Arsenal
competes in the Uefa Champions League for a
16th consecutive season and following a
successful pre-season tour to Indonesia,
Vietnam and Japan.
The new partnership and opportunity to
engage with Arsenal’s worldwide fan base will
be central to furthering Gatorade’s global
ambitions while increasing their involvement
in elite football.
Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal’s director of global
partnerships and business strategy, said of the
deal: “We are delighted to welcome Gatorade
to our growing family of partners; a truly
international brand and the leaders in their
field.
“As we further build our support in
international territories, we know that we can
help connect Gatorade with fans around the
world. As a company they offer us products
and knowledge honed by decades of research,
and we are looking forward to working
together with our own sports medicine experts
to offer all of our players the best sports
nutrition products and support.” (Arsenal.com)
