The 3 players Arsenal should target for January transfer

The summer transfer window was really very thrilling, reason being Wenger acquired the best no.10 in the world just by magic words (and of course 42.4m pounds) on deadline day. And what a debut he had for Arsenal. The question now arises – are we strong and depth-wise fulfilled enough to compete for title? If not, then Wenger can always go back into the transfer market in January, so let’s check out some potential big name transfers for then. Firstly the guy we missed in summer, Luis Suarez. He is a very intelligent (apart from confusing his meal) footballer and premier league proven quality. Now this one really depends on Walcott. Against Sunderland, Walcott missed two clear cut opportunities not to mention a few other half decent ones. Currently he is on a low, but let’s not put him under pressure and give him some time. Let’s say till January? Suarez would be an excellent addition given he can collect and finish those Ozil key passes and can give Giroud some rest. Now we are well covered on the left flank with Podolski, Ox and Cazorla. Even when Cazorla plays in the middle when Ozil is rested we will have Ox and Pod in the same position. But for me primarily Suarez, if bought, will lead Arsenal’s right flank. And when he plays upfront, Walcott gets his chance to keep playing. But it will mean much less chances for prince Podolski. Anyway it all depends on Walcott’s form by the end of December. But just imagine this- —————————————–Giroud———- ———————————– Cazorla ——————————–Ozil —————————————Suarez ——————————Ramsey —————–Arteta——– ——————— NOTE- this will be strongest lineup based on recent form. The second possible signing is also one we did bid for in summer, Lars Bender. Another German, another super talent. This one is a bit tricky. Most defensive midfielders form a sturdy partnership with the defense and attacking midfielders by the end of December. Disrupting this partnership is not easy and forming a new one when half of the season is gone is even more difficult. So I think we should go for Bender next summer. Then he will get more comfortable at Arsenal and Arteta will teach him with his experience so he can be the latter’s long time replacement in his second season for Arsenal. We should go all out for him in summer. I am really a big fan of this guy. The third one and my personal choice is Micah Richards. Why do we need him? Because Sagna is better in the central defense. And I think Vermaelen should be given a CDM role while he makes his comeback (like Luiz). So that becomes 3 CBs, 3 LBs (including Verm) but only 2 regular RBs. Richards is the answer. He is pacy, physical and an Arsenal fan from boyhood. He is also proven quality. He is though injury prone but then we will have Sagna and of course Jenkinson to cover him. He can and will succeed at Arsenal. He can also play as CB. Most importantly he is yet to reach his prime. He isn’t getting enough playing time at City so he will have less difficulty getting into our system than any other quality defender. It’s always good to see new great players in your squad given youngsters still get opportunities. The past 2 weeks showed us that we can always trust in Wenger. He makes the right choice. We have got a really good manager; let’s back him up while he is still here. THE NIGHT IS DARKEST JUST BEFORE THE DAWN. THE DAWN HAS COME FOR ARSENAL!!!
